When the trip was cancelled by the tour Co. we got no $ back except from the tour Co. InsureAssist should have covered some of the cost or made sure we understood that in this case no $ would be refunded.

Thank you for your review and feedback. We contacted InsureAssist on your behalf earlier this year. They explained to us that since the tour operator cancelled the trip, they would be responsible to reimburse you any fees incurred, and that unfortunately, this is not a covered event. Thought the coverage was proper for what we needed and also competitively priced. I shopped it hard since it was a first time use of such a plan. The website offered good support and information as well the phone team clarified everything readily. The Customer representatives were extremely informative and helpful. We will use this company again for future travel when insurance is required.

I can't evaluate your plan since it wasn't used. The only test of how good a company is would be the response to a claim. In our case, no claim was made so basically we bought peace of mind at a fairly high price.

We were happy to have the peace of mind that came with being insured on our trip. All went well, and we didn't need your services, but it sure was nice knowing help was a phone call away.We have already recommended you to friends since Medicare doesn't cover you outside of the USA.

Rental car insurance should be investigated In depth. Deduct able is very high and not presented with plan cost. Car went under extra scrutiny because I refused their insurance (Hertz). Got tagged for a scratched wheel at almost $800.00. Plan cost 226.00. Claim. 800.00. compensation. $80.00. My advise, buy car rental insurance from the company you rent from. Pay up for 0 deduct able. You are going to get burned either way. At least this way you know how much and pay upfront. Just my opinion...

Very good coverage and cost. Fortunately , I have never had to file a claim on a travel ins policy--this would be the true test.
