I just think was a little unfair that my son who is 35 and I'm 68 and we wanted to extend our insurance for 7 more days and I had to pay a $175 more I think that is unfair.

Although I didn't have to use this coverage to file a claim, it still gave me peace of mind. My husband is 85 and I am 79 so the coverage was expensive as I chose a group that was a primary payer. However, I knew that I would have paid coverage in case of an emergency. That was worth it to me. If money is tight, then this type of primary payer coverage would not be a value.

Web site was easy to use and very useful. Price comparisons were invaluable. Phone support before purchase very helpful - and made me feel comfortable that they could/would help if I needed to make a claim. Thankfully no claim made - but honestly, though I feel having support/leverage of using InsureMyTrip to purchase the insurance made me feel comfortable, unless you actually have a claim dispute, it is hard to judge how good they really are.

Did not have to use. We were glad we had it.
There was a lady there that missed a step and broke her leg.
I think I heard that they did not have travel insurance. She broke her leg the 2nd day of their trip.

I think the plan is great although thankfully did not need to use it. I travel a lot internationally and will use it again and again. In fact I am going to Europe for a month this summer and have already purchased another plan. Great plan, great price!
