On my recent trip to Vietnam and Cambodia I had an episode that resulted in a trip to the emergency room in Cambodia, where I was treated and released after multiple tests and a scan after 3 hours. I notified IMG the next day, they acknowledged immediately, but I didn't actually file the claim till after my return home 2 weeks later. I submitted the info they requested and I received payment in full for my expenses. The whole process took less than a month which I think is timely for a claim, and the process was quite simple. I was very pleased with IMG, and I'm going to purchase another policy with them for an upcoming trip at the end of the year.

The day the WHO declared a global emergency (January 30, 2020) due to corona virus the IMG/Insuremytrip website went dark claiming IT issues. Now 24 days later the site is still down for taking any new claims. Waited for over 3 weeks to file a new claim and still can't. do not trust that this company is financially solvent to follow through with their promised coverage. They have a lot of nerve asking for a review when they still can't process a claim. zero stars were not an option for promptness or satisfaction but should be.

I really can't evaluate the effectiveness of this plan because I never had to file a claim. However, it was worth the peace of mind to have a policy just in case.

Bought the plan for a trip to Singapore, Vietnam and Laos. Had a medical problem in Laos. Talked to you and you told me you didn't have any doctors in Laos....great. Flew to Hanoi to have the problem addressed at a clinic listed on your website. They have never heard of you and did not accept the insurance. I paid out of pocket. No claim filed since it was under the deductible anyway. Your company was absolutely zero help with my problem. Never again will I buy a policy from you.

A review is useless as we did not file a claim. Without a claim I have no idea how good the insurance was and how easy the company was to deal with.
