Without a need for a claim, it's simply speculative as to how the policy would have performed but based on what was presented, it would appear that the policy was worthwhile hence my purchase.

This kind of product is needed for certain people and situations. In this case, my teenage daughter and her boyfriend had air tickets to join me and my husband at our summer home for a one week vacation. We started to wonder if their relationship would last that long, so I looked on line to see if there could possibly be any such thing as a "cancel for any reason" travel insurance plan.

I was pleased to find that it does exist. I called and spoke with the rep who told me even young love like that is okay for a reason to cancel. I bought the plan for his and her tickets. Happy ending is that alll 4 of us had a great vacation together, but it was nice to know it would have been covered if the romance had ended before that.
