Offering the highest coverage limits of the three plans provided by John Hancock, the Gold plan offers the most included coverage as well as optional upgrades. This plan offers Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption, as well as many other coverages including Missed Connection and Itinerary Change. These coverages could come in handy if a covered common carrier delay causes you to miss your cruise departure or if your travel supplier changes your covered trip itinerary after your departure date.

It’s hard to review any product that you didn’t actually use. All you can say is that relative to other plans, it potentially offers more bang for your buck. The good thing is it’s backed by major insurance company. You won’t know if it delivers until you need to file a claim.

We had a wonderful trip with no glitches. I did see a man on our trip leave to be hospitalized for an illness, people lost luggage and missed flights. I knew that we had coverage for those items or other unforeseen events that may have come our way and that made our trip even more comfortable. Thank you!
