Offering the highest coverage limits of the three plans provided by John Hancock, the Gold plan offers the most included coverage as well as optional upgrades. This plan offers Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption, as well as many other coverages including Missed Connection and Itinerary Change. These coverages could come in handy if a covered common carrier delay causes you to miss your cruise departure or if your travel supplier changes your covered trip itinerary after your departure date.

Glad we did not have to use coverage. Ease of purchase and your timely response with cards and other pertinent information will bring me back to John Hancock for my future travel insurance needs. Rates were competitive.

Since I did not file a claim with the plan, I do not know how well it really is. The fact that I did not have a claim is in itself a good thing. Trip insurance is simply a necessity of life today.

Since I had no need to make a claim, I have no basis for any complaint. The only benefit I got from this purchase was peace of mind. IMHO it was worth it!

The agency that handled this claim, Seven Corners, was extremely slow in processing. After I filed the claim online, there was no communication from them until I initiated it. Would not purchase a John Hancock travel policy again, there are too many other better choices.

The real value of an insurance policy is demonstrated in the provider's handling of a claim. Since I had no claim, I have no information on that key bit of information. Hancock's plan appeared to me to offer more features than many at a competitive cost.

The people I interacted with were not the most friendly but the plan itself was good. I had difficulty trying to figure out what was all covered and how. The representatives were helpful but not friendly.
