Thank goodness I didn't have an illness, but always buy insurance when I travel outside this country as Medicare does not pay then.
The only problem with this plan was I was told I would be mailed the information as my computer printer was not working, but was sent all information on email. Assume nobody read I was to be mailed information.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. For future knowledge, the confirmation of coverage email from InsureMyTrip is adequate proof of insurance. It contains your policy number, insurance company contact information, and summary of benefits. Also, you can access the FrontierMEDEX description of coverage buy clicking on the "full details" or "view certificate" within the InsureMyTrip email.Jun 10,2014

fortunately we did not have to use the plan. i had asked for a copy to be sent to me via the postal service but it never was. that is important because many times i did not have access to my email account if i had needed to see the coverage.

Follow up with Frontier MEDEX was required to obtain ID cards & InsureMyTrip customer service was exemplary in assisting. Not sure if I would select Frontier MEDEX again as if I needed to file a claim, I would be concerned I might need assistance from InsureMyTrip to get through to Frontier MEDEX.

I only wanted medical insurance for my wife, who is on Medicare, but had to take the other coverage, at some additional cost I suppose. Fortunately no need to make a claim.

Every thing else was fine. Good price. I purchased evacuation insurance only. Fortunately I didn't need it.

Thankfully I did not need to use this medical coverage. Therefore, I find it difficult to offer input on the plan's ease of use and benefits provided. However, based on the summary of benefits info rec'd, it appeared to provide the coverage I needed while vacationing in Canada. and the cost was fairly reasonable.
