Medjet is a domestic and global air medical transport membership program based in the U.S. If a Medjet member becomes hospitalized more than 150 miles from home and meets transport criteria, Medjet will arrange medical transport to the hospital of their choice within their home country at no additional cost. As with any insurance, the best plan is to not need it! It was comforting that I had a back-up in case I did. I was happy that I did not need it. Then, of course, you second guess whether you needed to spend money on something you didn't need:) however if things had been different this would have saved my "bacon" so not a bad thing.
