Thankfully we did not have to use it for any claims but it was wonderful knowing it was in place should we have to. My only concern is the price of the policy which is how it is with any insurance plan. The price seemed high, $700 for a $5400 trip. But for the coverage, if we had needed it, it was a relief knowing it was there. I will always use InsureMyTrip for trip insurance rather than what the cruise or airline companies offer. I love the choice of selecting the product.

This policy cost half of what the tour wanted to charge me. It would have covered emergency hospitalization. Since I signed on for the tour so long in advance, it gave me peace of mind if I had a medical problem that prevented me from traveling. I like InsureMyTrip because I can compare many insurance companies and get an exact fit.

Glad we didn't need the plan but it was during hurricane season and just knowing we would lose our investment if we were evacuated or the trip was cancelled was reassuring. Also, knowing if we had a medical emergency we would get help in defraying costs for that was good too.
