I always use InsureMyTrip.com for travel insurance as I think you get more for your money. Have never filed a claim so I cannot say how it provides coverage on refunds, etc.

After my wife and I booked our first cruise my father was diagnosed with cancer, and he was scheduled for surgery the exact week that our cruise was scheduled to depart. I submitted a claim and was reimbursed for the portion of the trip that was non-refundable. When my wife and I plan another cruise we will gladly Insure our trip with M.H. Ross.
You always want insurance coverage, but you never want to use it. But, when you do need it, you never know if the carrier will pay your claim or not. M.H. Ross paid our claim quickly, and without any hassle. Thanks!
PS - My father is doing well now, and the surgery seems to have been successful.

I had a friend who works for a travel agency look at the plan and she assured me it was a very good insurance that covered everything...I felt it was costly for just 5 days,but I was glad to have it in case I needed it.

The real test, of course, is if you have to use the insurance. I didn't, but felt that I was well covered over the concerns that I had.

It's always good to have insurance for a major trip. Although I didn't need to use it, the price was reasonable enough for the piece of mind if something had happened.

I did recommend this to my brother...
this coverage was a great piece of mind. If anything was to go wrong, I knew things would be covered. Our cruise went off perfect and the coverage was in place to insure the possibilities of any issues were covered. Great times don't just happen / cover all the bases and the vacation will work out issue free.
