Nationwide does not consider the quarantine of an entire country due COVID-19 a valid claim. W were half into our trip when Norway closed all borders to entry to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Now Nationwide wants proof I was denied entry. Do I need a picture of me trying to cross the border? Forget appealing the ruling unless you in a select 12 few states where you can appeal to the Insurance commission. In the other 38 states it seems Nationwide is judge and jury. I certainly do not understand the great reviews of this terrible coverage.

Due to my father's death we had to cancel a trip to Sweden and Denmark. Once we submitted all the paperwork (electronically), the claim was processed quickly and the payment sent. The amount we requested and substantiated was sent. We did take the time to provide a lot of documentation which probably helped make our claim an easy one to process. I would use Nationwide again for trip insurance.

I broke a tooth on a Thursday evening while on vacation. I could not bet a dentist appointment
as I was flying home on the following Monday.Called insurance claim. They would not cover. I needed to be treated by Monday under the terms of the agreement. ? My bad!

I always buy trip insurance and I always buy it from Insuremytrip. It is easy to pick the right level of insurance at a price you can afford. It just makes for a worry free journey knowing you have back up!

We were forced to cancel our cruise 8 days before we were scheduled to depart, as I needed surgery for a life-threatening condition. I submitted the claim for the full amount of the cruise with full documentation about a week after the cancellation. Today, 15 days later, I received checks from Nationwide for the full amount of my claim. There were no questions, and I am still stunned by the extraordinarily rapid and positive response from Nationwide. I was also blessed to have successful surgery.
I have read hundreds of trip insurance reviews on your site saying how customers were pleased with the plan and glad they did not need to use it. I have purchased trip insurance many times and said the same thing in my reviews. This time, I needed the insurance, and I couldn't imagine better service. Nationwide really is "on your side". I can't recommend this insurance more highly.

The Nationwide Essential plan provides coverage up to 500 USD per person for dental Emergency Treatment for an Accidental Injury to Sound Natural Teeth. Both the Accidental Injury and the dental Emergency Treatment must occur during the Trip. If treatment is not obtained during the trip, and the traveler waits until returning home to the United States, the travel insurance expires and is not responsible for the medical bills.
