Very satisfied. Three days before our cruise we had a medical emergency and need to cancel our 12 day cruise. We called claims and were given a claim number, with directions on what was needed to file the claim. Sent all needed paperwork in an email with a PDF file to claims. We received 2 checks in the mail approximately 3 weeks later, minus port taxes that Royal Caribbean refunded. Thank you Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company. We purchased the Essential Plan coverage.

I have insured through Nationwide with almost all of my trips using InsureMyTrip. They are very reasonable for the coverage they offer. This was the first time I have had to file a claim and was pleasantly surprised. The customer service representatives I spoke with were very kind and helpful. They immediately sent me the forms to file and told me all of the paperwork I would need. The claim was handled very quickly with no problems at all. This is the kind of company that I like to deal with and would highly recommend them to anyone. They will continue to be the company I use in the future. Thank you Nationwide for a great experience.

I am extremely satisfied with the plan I purchased through Nationwide that covered a cruise. I had to cancel our cruise due to illness. I submitted the claims forms and received a prompt reimbursement. I would definitely use this company in the future.

Thank you for your comment. Unlike auto and homeowners policies, the premiums for Comprehensive Travel Insurance Plans are based on (1) cost of trip, (2) age of traveler and (3) length of trip. As you may have noted when quoting this plan, you also selected a plan that is specifically designed for ocean cruises with additional coverage that you may not find in other policies, so that the Choice Cruise plan was more expensive than several other plans offered on our website.
