We had a flight cancelled and a resultant overnight stay on the way back from our vacation. We called the Insuremytrip service number. the rep transferred us to a Nationwide service rep for some of our questions. Both people answered promptly, were able to bring up our information, and provided knowledgeable answers on what we would need to file a claim. However, the airline paid for our room and meals so we did not need to file. So, although we cannot rate claims payment, we were impressed by both the Insuremytrip and Nationwide service people.

I searched various websites for a plan that met my needs. The Nationwide plan fit the bill and was priced reasonably. I didn't have to use it, so can't comment on claims. I would use this plan again.
