For the price of the essential plan offered by the cruise line ( that didn’t cover much ), I felt protected by a much stronger plan offered here.

This was the first time in my life taking out travel insurance. We had a tropical storm interrupt our trip keeping us from making it to our hotel reservation. That hotel still charged us for the full amount & being stuck an extra night on a different island we had to quickly find accommodations for that night . The policy we purchased covered both of us for both nights . After I filled out a claim & submitted receipts I happily received full reimbursement for both lodgings . It did take about 8weeks , but I was told when I submitted my claim that they were short staffed & it would take awhile . They even sent me an email after 4 weeks apologizing for the delay . I was thrilled to get reimbursed which encouraged me to purchase this same insurance for our next trip ! Thank u

The plan offered us peace of mind for any unknown and unexpected issues during our travels. Provided a more relaxing and really enjoyable time knowing that we had a backup support from a reputable company for any unforseable problems. Had a problem with the plan's coverage on Baggage Delay. When returning from Jamaica, my wife's suitcase did not come down the baggage shoot at Newark. Upon looking into the matter at the lost baggage kiosk, we found out the bag was never shipped, nor even scanned to be loaded in Jamaica, even though it was tagged to be loaded on our flight. The next day came, still no bag. Later we were called and told the bag was then shipped to Chicago and that we would get it the next day. We did. Unfortunately, we were told "return" baggage delay was NOT covered. What is the correct response? Why offer Baggage Delay in your promotion details; we were told to read the small print of the actual contract." Nice trick. Goodbye. Nationwide. "Nationwide is NOT on your side."

Plan provided the cover I wanted at a reasonable price. I didn’t have to make a claim so cannot comment on that aspect of the policy but very happy with both price and cover. Will definitely seriously consider using this company next time.
