We did not have to file any claims but felt like we had the coverage we needed just in case it was needed. One of the people we ate dinner with each night on the cruise died of a heart attack while snorkeling in Cozumel so it really made us glad that we had travel insurance. Also very glad we did not have to use it.

Although I did not need to file a claim (thankfully!) the peace of mind I had after purchasing this very reasonably priced policy was worth every penny. There have been so many stories in the news lately about cruise ship mishaps - and one of my biggest fears about this cruise was getting sick in Mexico. The policy covered all of that. For the money you're spending on a great vacation, it's such a small price to pay for that extra peace of mind.

Should provide easy to read list of necessary documents needed if a claim is to be processed at the time of review/purchase. Would be easier to understand than to look into fine print etc.

The lanquage of the terms and conditions, ie., covered events was unclear. Even as a lawyer, I found it unnecessarily difficult to find out what was or was not covered.

Had a great cruise so I did not need it, but glad I had it. Took the cruise out of Galveston between Hurricane Harvey and Irma and there was definitely potential for some travel problems. The "cruise plan" offered some features not found in many travel insurance plans. Already planning on a cruise next spring, and will have the same cruise plan coverage. Tom in Austin Texas
