Very poor claims handling - first response to a claim submission denied payment for a $100 claim without any explanation as to why claim was denied. Pay a bit more and go with a company that does not have such a narrow, ill-defined interpretation/definition of an "accident."

The plan was less expensive than the one offered by the tour provider. We could have used less coverage because we were in a country that handles health care plus we had good health care coverage. The insurance gave us peace of mind regarding possible extenuating circumstances that could have cancelled or interrupted our trip.

I was able to make complete plans and travel with confidence, knowing that if a family emergency were to arise, I would not lose all the money I had paid out for my trip. It also comforted me to know I was covered in case of a health problem while abroad. Fortunately, we did not have to call on Roam Right, as the trip went smoothly and we had no medical issues. No lost luggage, no missed connections, no canceled flights, no bankrupt vendors -- so I was able to return home a happy traveler.
