The Semi Inclusive plan from RSA Travel Insurance offers Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption coverage to residents of Canada. There is a list of covered perils that may cause you to have to cancel or interrupt your trip, such as unforeseen illness, injury or death, and your residence being uninhabitable. Also offered are Baggage, Travel Delay, and Accidental Death and Dismemberment benefits. This plan does include a Pre-Existing Medical Condition exclusion that varies by age.

The first time I called the person I spoke to was named David. He was very helpful and said I could ensure my flight and theatre tickets. The second time I called back to actually purchase coverage, the person I spoke too said they never cover theatre tickets had never heard of such a thing and everything I questioned him about from my prior conversation seemed to be the wrong information. I thought they would all give me the same info and was not going to insure with your company. I then decided to call back and ask for David specifically and was lucky enough to get to talk to him. He said I could insure my flight and theatre tickets and then quoted me the price that was originally quoted, and I was very happy with his customer service. If I had of spoke to the second gentleman the first time, I would have never insured with your company thinking what I needed, your company could not provide. He made it sound like he had worked with your company a long time but obviously did not know some very important aspects of your insurance policies. I do thank David for his assistance. We had a fabulous trip without incident and did not have to file a claim so cannot comment on that only getting the insurance.
