I didn't travel, as my ticket could not be rescheduled. However, am happy of the cost and easiness to purchase this plan. If I wanted to get comprehensive cover, what do i need to do?

The price was great, but I'm wondering if I had to file a claim, how easy would that be? It's hard to review when you didn't actually need it. But the purchase transaction was very simple!

Fortunately, did not need to submit a claim, but the coverage provided peace of mind, will use HCC again as some companies have restrictions or age limits. It is the elderly that have a bigger need for travel insurance coverage.

The email responses take too long. It's supposed to be an international plan but it does not account for ways for people overseas to get in touch. I twice requested a phone call back via email as international calls to the 800-number based in the USA are expensive and there's no way to call collect from a cell phone. However both times I didn't receive an email back until 1-2 days later and no one ever called me back as requested. Thankfully there was no emergency and i decided I could live without the follow-up. In theory it covers the basics in case of an emergency abroad. In practice, I haven't had to put it to the test.

I wish you guys could have been a little more flexible with me to renew my policy when it was expiring - I was a day late due to circumstances related to my traveling and it ended up being a bit of a hassle to start over (and perhaps more costly too?). That's a good sign though that I wanted to renew- I liked your coverage (though I did not use it) and thought your prices were reasonable.
