We felt more comfortable being insured for our trip to Hawaii due to the expense for the trip from the east coast. The insurance allowed us to make a stop in San Francisco for several nights, which made the jet lag so much easier. It was a good feeling knowing that we were protected in case of any emergency. We met a family of four who missed their connecting flight to Oahu, they did get a flight to Maui but their luggage was lost. They had insurance which paid for their overnight expenses in Maui and then transportation to Hawaii. Insurance is a good thing, we will consider insuremytrip (Travelex) on future trips.

I was hurt in Hawaii and I wanted to call and find out what the procedure to follow was since I have never had to use the insurance in the past. It was very difficult because of the time difference. They closed at 5:00 Eastern time.
