We didn't go on the cruise :( I actually forgot about this insurance plan. We ended up going somewhere else in FL for a week. I wish I would have remembered this so I could have covered this trip instead. Ohh well, too late to turn back and it definitely isn't the company's fault. Thanks!

The good thing about your plan is I never had to use it or file a claim. You don't really know the value of travel insurance until you have to use it and see how the company treats you then.

Unfortunately we were unable to take this trip due to the sudden and unexpected death of our traveling companion. The claim was filed immediately upon his death and the process was simple and it took a few weeks to have the claim approved. I now have peace of mind knowing all my other booked cruises and trips have been purchased through this very reliable company. Thank you.

good price for what it covered. Covered much more than what I could get through my cruise company insurance for a lower price. Didn't need it, but was thankful to have it if it was needed.

We got the cruise because of a last moment cancellation and were very rushed to get everything done and packed. Therefore, I did not do a diligent reading of the plan, and we did not have a claim to file; therefore, I don't know a great deal about it. I did notice that there was a pre-existing condition clause (that I also didn't read), but that is of some concern in that at age 73 there are some conditions.

Was glad I had this, as storms and ice moved in a DAY AFTER we travelled. Some people missed the cruise because of storms, and it turns out I was right to be nervous travelling in January. Since then I've come across several stories of illnesses at sea, people being stranded in foreign hospitals, their health insurance not accepted, etc. Google on "medical emergency cruise ship" and you'll see. Nothing can keep me from cruising, but I will ALWAYS get travel insurance now.
