We had a problem come up on the weekend. When I tried calling Travelex I was disappointed to find out that they only offer assistance with medical emergencies outside of regular office hours. They had no customer service representatives available on the weekend.

We are sorry to hear of the difficulty you experienced while traveling. It is important to note that there are multiple ways to get in touch with the insurance company. If possible, you can reach the insurance company via email or even file a claim via their website. If you were experiencing an emergency, you could also call the 24/7 emergency assistance line.Feb 12,2013

Since we've not had a claim, it's hard to review anything meaningfully. The cost was in line with other policies so we took it. Phone service was good. Lots of choice with comparisons is what we liked
