We needed to file a claim on a prior trip with Travelex, and it was handled really well. From helping us with new flight arrangements, to covering an unexpected delay in the trip for several days. We are very happy with the plan and highly recommend it.

I did not have to use the insurance thank goodness, but glad we had it. Paid approximately 5% of the total trip cost which was half of the price from the cruise line itself. Not to mention I was able to purchase insurance only 5 to 7 days prior to my trip departing which was something the cruise line did not offer at all.

Seemed like a good plan that covered what we needed for our trip. Gave us peace of mind if something were to happen on our cruise. Of course wish it was a tiny bit cheaper but we did have to insure 5 people vs. 2 this time so it seemed fair. I felt confident that Travelex would pay any claims that arose but fortunately our cruise went smoothly and we had no claims. I remember being on our last cruise and needing to see a doctor on the ship but not doing it because I didn't want to pay for it. With this plan I could have been reimbursed for expenses like that which made me feel better bringing three kids along with me. So overall I am satisfied and this website made it easy to buy without any sales pitch and since their representatives are not on commission, no one was pushy, just informative. Quick and easy for what we needed.

Missed our connection and thought I was going to have to stay overnight, so I called the concierge to find out if they could help. They opened a claim, told us what we could spend, if needed and even looked for alternative flights for us.
Luckily, we made a standby flight and didn't have to process a claim after all.

Thankfully, we did not have to file a claim. The price of the policy was worthwhile for the peace of mind it provided. It appears to cover more for less money than the insurance available through the cruise lines.

My son and I both had to visit the ship doctor. I paid for our visit and the meds out of pocket. When I returned home, I simply called the number listed on my policy. I was immediately emailed forms that had to be completed and mailed in. About 3 weeks later, I received a check in the mail for the full amount! This insurance is a no-brainer, in my opinion.
