We filed a claim in October 2017, for a November 2017 cruise that we cancelled. There were several hurricanes that increased their response time, which is understandable, but We had "cancel for any reason" insurance and we didn't receive our insurance reimbursement until April 2018. It took 6 months to go through the claim process. They would say they needed additional information and then two weeks later they would ask for new information that they could have asked for in the previous contact - it seemed like they were trying to delay resolution of our claim. They took so long that they threatened they were going to close our claim request because we provided an "invalid" cruise reservation number - it turns out it wasn't invalid at all, it was archived by the cruise line since it was so many months after the actual cruise date. They did pay the amount we expected, but taking 6 months to pay us is way too long.

    Thank you for leaving a review regarding the length of your claim settlement. The amount of time you waited to reach settlement was too long. We are sorry for the inconvenience and the frustration it caused. We are taking important steps to make sure claims are settled promptly, including increasing the number of adjusters we have available. I have had several plans with TravelSafe over the years. Always a good product. But what I most like, I tend to make mistakes when filling out the plan and I have called and the corrections are made quickly and width no fuss. Thank you for that.

It took five(5) months to get the money back and it was only $1098.00 and I filled out all the paper work perfectly and did not have any additional information to send in or reports requested by the company. Not good business.

I I felt I had chosen the best insurance and had all my questions answered about my coverage as I added things that needed to be insured. I asked many questions and always received quick, helpful responses. We have been on many cruises and learned through the course of the trip of people falling, having a heart attack and being evacuated and on this lasted trip, an injury needing blood donors so having this insurance hopefully would have made an emergency medical problem less costly as well as covering g any one of the things go wrong.

Plan was exceptional, and the reason it was exceptional is that I did not need to use it. Have a great time and had peace of mind prior to, and during, that things were covered in case of an emergency.
