Our grandson contracted the norovirus while on our cruise. He went to the emergency room in Miami upon disembarking. His regular health insurance plan has a $150 deductible for ER visits. TravelSafe reimbursed the cost of the ER deductible. I found it odd that TravelSafe required us to submit a copy of our credit card statement as proof that we paid for the policy. I would have expected them to already know if the premium was paid. But they reimbursed the $150 without any problems. We would use them again.

Thank you for your comment. We are pleased to hear that you received your reimbursement. As for the company's request for a copy of your credit card statement, proof of payment is required by all carriers including TravelSafe if you wish to receive reimbursement.Sep 29,2016

It's really hard to write a review for an insurance policy that, thankfully, I didn't need to use. I guess I paid a reasonable price. I hope the coverage would have been sufficient. If I needed travel insurance again, I would use the company and policy that seemed to best fit my needs, and the one that would be most cost effective.

After comparing several plans for a cruise this was the best for us. I needed a couple of things changed after initial purchase and e-mailed the request. They made the changes and e-mailed me back the updated policy. Everything was good, thankfully no need to use it.

Insurance is one of those things that if you need it, it's worth every penny. If you don't you second guess buying it. But, had something gone wrong I would have surely been glad I had made the purchase.

It seemed to be a very good plan. It covered most of the items I needed covered. I was disappointed however with the price. In the past I have been able to get even better coverage for less money.
