The claim took approximately 90 days to process. I've filed claims with other companies and it never took that long! I was satisfied with the amount but still wasted a lot of money on the premium since that wasn't reimbursed. Thanks to InsureMyTrip the claim was finally processed. If they hadn't contacted them for me then it probably would have taken much longer.

This affordable insurance gave me peace of mind when I had to put deposits down on a number of hotels while planning a summer road trip. While I did not cancel and filed no claims, it was comforting to know that if I did have a change of plans I would not loose all of the money I had deposited.

I wanted to buy protection for two reasons: injury prior to the trip (a bicycling tour) and my employer cancelling all vacations due to storms. I wound up having to purchase accidental death and dismemberment, accident sickness and medical expense coverage, baggage delay, lost baggage, etc., etc. Perhaps I didn't clearly explain the coverage I needed when I called InsureMyTrip, but in any case, I felt the cost was too high.
