I did not receive medical care or need reimbursement for any medical costs while in New Zealand. However, I sprained my ankle while there and every contact number provided, international included, was not in service. I have international coverage and no problems with any other contacts except every phone number provided with this plan. I had several questions regarding my coverage while on vacation and unable to reach any customer service to get those questions answered. Very disappointed.

We are so sorry to hear about your sprained ankle while traveling, and how frustrating it must have been for you to not be able to get through for assistance. The phone number labeled “Collect” on the ID card is the number to call when outside of the US, and we do not see that there were any issues with the number, but will keep looking into it to make sure this doesn’t happen in the future.Apr 13,2023

The policy was exactly what I was looking for. We are typically looking for adventure/outdoor activities and this policy had the fewest exclusions with flexible coverage limits and options.
