Trawick International is a full service travel insurance provider specializing in travel related coverage for tourists, scholars, businesses, and all other global travelers.
We were seeking some level of financial protection against unforeseen circumstances (expanded Covid restrictions, Covid illness within our travel party, etc) potentially affecting our travel and vacation plans. We found the travel insurance offered by this plan to be a reasonable cost for the reimbursement provided in the event some or all of our travelers had to cancel travel plans on short notice. Fortunately there was no need to cancel and we enjoyed a lovely vacation. Nonetheless we appreciated the piece of mind gained by having this level of financial protection in these uncertain Covid pandemic times.

Can't really give a review one way or another because it was purchased online and I never spoke with anyone. We didn't need it so I hope that if we had it would have been worthwhile.

my one negative comment is that I had a last minute weather related need to start my trip one day early and it took Trawick quite a few days to update my policy to the new date range. Not good customer service for such an easy change

The Safe Travels Voyager Plan provided me with the peace of mind I needed with all the variables Covid-19 presented. The possibility of testing positive just before the flight or cruise, losing double occupancy discounts, or being put into isolation upon returning to the US, and all the cancellations due to labor shortages were all things out of my control. This plan was affordable too.

The claim was received on 11/4/21. It took 3 months to be paid. I sent several notes to check on it & got replies back that it was in line. It finally came back paid today. Paid well. I had sent in lots of documentation.

I ended up changing both the destination and dates for my trip and Trawick was able to accommodate me and covered my new trip and I even got a refund for the premium difference between the two.

The pre-existing condition coverage was hard to understand. I don't understand what the first date of purchasing my trip and the last payment I made had anything to do with a pre-existing condition.

Thank you for your review. The waiver of Pre Existing Conditions is a time sensitive benefit. If you wait too long, or on some plans purchase after you have made your final trip payment, coverage for pre existing medical conditions will no longer be available. You must buy travel insurance soon after your first trip payment/deposit in order to meet the deadline for qualification. Typically, the requirement is anywhere from 10-21 days after the deposit. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at 800-487-4722 and we would be happy to review pre existing conditions and the waiver with you.

I searched many different review sites and I kept seeing this one so I bought it.
I think we were covered for most things but to be honest every plan seems written in a way to confuse a customer which causes the customer to just give up reading and hoping that the summary gives you enough true information.
They use words like “may” And “should” “if” those little words are very powerful in legal documents like insurance policies.
Even if you read the entire policy, THE AVERAGE PERSON ISNT GOING TO FULLY UNDERSTAND IT.
Just pray that the company truly wants to do the right thing for their cudtomers.
That’s my rant!
