An extremely unprofessional organization. When one files a claim using this company's website, no information is provided on said site about the progress of the claim. In fact, you cannot even use the site to find the details of your original claim submission. This then requires customers to email the company directly and responses are 1) slow in the first place and 2) when received, erroneous. For instance, I had to file two separate claims, one about a damaged suitcase and the other about a damaged laptop. When I followed up about the claim regarding my laptop, a lack of response would require me to write again, only to get a reply about the claim regarding my suitcase. This frustrating back and forth finally resulted in the information that the company would not cover the damage to the laptop.
I advise travelers to avoid this company for their poor handling of claims and correspondence.

The cost of travel insurance goes up with age and time. I am beginning to question the value compared to the risk. In the future I will evaluate what coverage I actually need.

I had a trip insurance policy that covered both my sister and I . We never needed to activate the policy. Thank God . I have complete confidence that if we needed medical services we would be taken care of completely. I never leave the USA without medical insurance. I have used insuremytrip for over 20 years of travel. It is the greatest.

Do not use Trawick at all! My baggage was delayed and I filed all documents on time and to the letter. Initially I was told I would hear back in 10 days. Then I was told I would hear back in another 15 business days. Well, another 15 business days have passed. When I called them again, it was as though I was in the wrong. I tried being as polite as possible and then he told me I would hear back in another 30 business days. Along the way, he kept telling me I would receive a status update in an email. I never once have received any emails or updates. Nothing. When I had emailed them, absolutely zero response numbers of time. They said I could go to a website (cbpconnect) to get a status update. When I went there, nothing. And then when I asked on the phone call about it, it says I'm in the system. When I asked I why I wasn't even receiving any updates, he sighed and basically said wait the month.
I think it's all a scam to actually not pay out on an actual valid claim. I submitted airline baggage lost claim forms, boarding passes, filled out Trawick forms, everything. Early and on time and thing.
I am very disappointed in Trawick and in Insuremytrip for even giving them such high ratings when they have been so poor in every aspect of their customer service.

I did not have to use the plan. I was so grateful to have it though. The peace of mind it gave me, especially during this time, was priceless. I will be using this service again and will recommend to friends.
