I did not have to file a claim, but we had a snowstorm that closed roads getting to the airport. I had called to clarify my plan if we didn't make the flight home. They were very helpful. As it was a 2 hour trip to the airport took 6 hours and, we checked our bags with 1 minute to spare but I had peace knowing we would have had coverage in these circumstances if need be.

We had to pay extra for the feature we wanted (due to a bad experience with a previous insurer). It would be nice to be offered a partial refund if no claims were made.

Seriously, you wanted a "refund" because you didn't file a claim? That's the point of insurance. You pay even if you don't use it, so that those less fortunate then you apparently we are spared inordinate pain.Jul 12,2012

Everything about the plan and service from InsureMyTrip was exceptionally good. Out of three couples covered in this plan, one couple had to make a claim and received excellent service. I will not hesitate in the future to use InsureMyTrip. Thank you.

I was so pleased with the coverage and price that I paid for the travel insurance. Actually I couldn't believe the price I was quoted. Gail, the representative that I dealt with was so pleasant, efficient and helpful. I want to thank you so very much for the excellent service and coverage.
Finally, a message was sent to my daughter's e-mail before we left wishing me a nice trip. This is the first time that any company has done this and it is a very nice, thoughtful touch. Again many thanks. If I do travel again I will certainly take my insurance coverage from you.

Please keep in mind that the coverages in these policies can vary from state to state. It is always beneficial to read the certificates before and after purchasing the policy.
