Unfortunately there was a medical emergency. These people handled it in an exemplary fashion and were brilliant in arranging for medical assistance and repatriation. Remember to keep ALL the paperwork you receive, get receipts and doctors' notes wherever possible, as the proof of financial claim is tortuous. In the end it was an excellent outcome when we spoke to an agent who had authority to effect a resolution.

I had to claim a doctor visit and medicines. the process took a couple of months, but I was reimbursed for all of my expenses. It was no harder or longer than any insurance claim. I will use them again soon.

Fortunately I did not need to use the coverage but I had the peace of mind that it was there if needed. The cost was very reasonable and I would recommend it to everyone.

Didn't have to use it thank goodness. But at our ages (72 &66) we won't travel overseas without a high limit medical and med evacuation plan and this was the one that the Insure My Trip rep recommended for us.
