I have a question about this subject!

Question:

We have used Insuremytrip.com several times in the past. My wife and I are planning 3 trips next year to South America, Africa and Northern Europe. Is it possible to get travel insurance that covers travel for a full year and if so, would this be a less expensive option?

Answer:

We do have annual medical policies that will cover you on multiple trips throughout the year. However, if you do want to insure the cost of your trip you will have to insure each trip separately with a comprehensive policy.

Question:

Our trip is not a "package". We will be taking a European cruise and then visiting several countries after the cruise. Can I just add up known costs and estimate the rest for the purpose of obtaining insurance?

Answer:

You do not have to purchase a specific type of trip or travel arrangements in order to be eligible for insurance. You should add up all known pre-paid non refundable travel expenses and use that amount for your trip cost. As you make additional travel arrangements, contact us within 10-30 days (Policy Specific) of making the travel arrangement to increase the coverage on your policy. We do not recommend estimating trip costs, because if you over estimate, or end up cancelling prior to making those expenses, refunds of premium will NOT be given if you are outside of the review period.
