The benefits and coverage seemed to be a good deal when I bought the policy. However, my iphone was stolen in Paris and when I checked the policy it only covers the original cost, not replacement cost. This means I'll be out at least $300 to replace it despite the insurance. This is a very significant difference.

We were happy to have the CSA plan for the sense of security it provided. Fortunately we did not have occasion to make a claim, so our review is based only on the sense of security it provided.

Fortunately, everything was fine on my trip and I did not need to use the plan. I am in my 70s and have some health issues and my health insurance does not cover problems in a foreign country, so I wanted the extra insurance. I used wheelchair service at the airports and that was wonderful and necessary for me. It worked well in all but one airport departure.
