my review deals mostly with the usefullness of the "InsureMyTrip" site, I have used this site in the past to purchase travel coverage and find it to be one of the more comprehensive sites that allows for a thorough comparison of coverages. Having many years of experience in the insurance industry I find this to be of paramount importance

In the beginning a customer representative help me choose a plan that met my concerns. I am 72, so I wanted to be sure that I had some medical coverage. Fortunately, I did not get sick on the trip and did not need to use the insurance in any other way. Which is a good thing!

Fortunately, I had no need to file a claim, but I spoke with an agent by phone in buying my plan, because it was for 5 family members coming from two different states, and so it was difficult for me to set it up on line. She was extremely helpful and guided me to what I think was the best plan for our needs. I will certainly call InsureMyTrip again for my next travel insurance needs.

I cannot make any comments or recommendations as we didn't fortunately have to use the insurance. It was just peace of mind to have it.
Again, I cannot make any rating of the insurance policy features as I never used any of them. As a former employee of the Insurance Industry I know that you can judge insurance policy only after you have to use it otherwise this is just a booklet with the quite specific legal terms and conditions which you have to read and understand before you pay for the policy.

the true test of a plan is when you actually make a claim and use the benefit. Fortunately we did not have any cause to use the benefits on this trip. Purchase of plan was easy and efficient and I will use again on my next trip. thanks

I was happy with the ease of taking out the Travel protection. It is hard to evaluate your coverage because no claim was made. I did it for the security of the protection, but still consider it a risk that there was some fine print I missed and if I made a claim it would not be covered. This is not saying that you would not have stood behind your policy. I did check you out with the BBB and you passed with flying colors. I would consider using your service again.
