My husband and I were very grateful for insurance coverage. Our flight was on time, but our cruise line bus transfers were delayed due to traffic. Although the cruise line says they will hold for cruise transfers, we don't like to take that chance. We were very glad, we didn't have to make a claim, because that way our vacation was a success, but the peace of mind is worth it. We never leave home without it.

On the InsureMyTrip website, I was offered a wide variety of plans to choose from. I called the toll free phone number, and spoke with a customer service representative who was very helpful in finding me the right plan, after my initial open enrollment period was expired.

When one buys trip insurance he or she hopes never to have to use it. Once again we have not had to use the plan we purchased so I guess it was fine. We have used CSA Travel Protection in the past and not ever having to use it, don't know how really good it is.
