I would recommend CSA to everyone who travels abroad, I didn't need to use it -Thank God! - but it was there if I needed it. For only $120 the coverage was thorough and covered anything you could experience. I plan to use them again the next overseas trip I take!

CSA gives me assurance both when I have a seamless as-planned trip and most importantly, when things go wrong. On this trip we had a seamless experience, but on two previous trips when luggage was lost, items were stolen and when my husband broke his leg, CSA stood by us and covered us with timely, respectful service. I am very loyal to this company for travel insurance.

It felt good to know that I had the insurance if needed and, to be honest, at 14,250 feet above sea level, there were times I thought I would need it. So happy that I did not and could complete the climb to Machu Picchu successfully. s-

The CSA insurance represented a nice savings over the plan suggested by our travel agent. We did have a claim related to trip interruption and received a prompt and favorable response. I would use CSA again in the future.

So happy I didn't need to use the policy!... but felt reassured that it was available. I always use insuremytrip for all travel insurance needs. This time I spoke to a customer rep because I was buying a policy to cover two people & had questions - she was extremely helpful.

For the amount we paid, I thought that the 6 month pre-existing exclusion was a lot to pay. I have gotten pre-existing included for less money from other companies.

My husband and I insured our tour to Macchu Picchu with CSA last March. We stayed overnight at an airport hotel in Lima so that we could leave for Cusco early the next morning. However, after a full day of waiting at the airport, the flight from Lima to Cusco was cancelled by Peru Airlines because of a problem that had occurred two days earlier in Cusco. Two other airlines were able to recover from the problem and make the flights within a day. As a result, we missed the first day of our tour and had to pay for an additional night at the Lima hotel. We filed a claim with CSA and were told that they would investigate with Peru Airlines about why the flight was cancelled. However, because Peru Airlines never responded, they refused our claim. Given how dysfunctional the airline was in meeting its obligations to travelers, I'm not at all surprised that they didn't respond to CSA. However, that doesn't justify CSA's failure to respond and to compensate us. We were repeatedly told that they were investigating, but we never did receive a final explanation--only auto-responses saying that someone would get back to us. No one did. Consequently, I'm disappointed to say that I would never use CSA again.
