I did not end up using the insurance. But later found out from my friend who traveled with me and I recommended she get the same coverage that I would have had to pay for all the expenses up front and then would have gotten reimbursed. I did not know this so will select a different coverage in the future.

I spoke to Customer Service about this and was told that they could make arrangements to guarantee payment. In any event, all of these plans are Indemnity, so no matter who you choose, you'll need to pay upfront and file a claim... even if you select a primary insurer.Mar 26,2012

I was pleased with the insurance coverage and the price. I felt confident that, if needed, I would have the help and the coverage needed to take care of any unforeseen problems. This peace of mind was well worth the money for me, as I was traveling overseas for the first time with my teenage daughter. We had a trip/flight delay due to a snowstorm. Plan representatives were all very helpful with information on how to file claim. Only mild complaint I have is that I got no updates on processing of the complaint. It took a few weeks, but claim was fully accepted without issue.
