On paper my coverage was exactly what I wanted and InsureMyTrip made it very easy to purchase.
Since I did not have to make a claim, there is no way to know how good a policy it actually was. However, it did provide some peace of mind.

We were very pleased with the cost of the policy and the coverages provided,however, the true test of the policy is not coverages but how you deal with a claim and that we never tested, particularly, when the coverages were mostly secondary and one does not know what hoops we would have to jump through to process a claim.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector
We did not have to file any claims fortunately. Very easy to work with. Coverage was originally purchased for a European river cruise. Due to the drought in Europe this summer and low river levels Viking cancelled our cruise and refunded 100% of our money. We decided to still go on our own by train to most of the same places but a couple weeks later. C & F Travel Insured transferred the coverage the new trip without any hassle.
