AXA Assistance USA Gold
This travel plan was expensive and I have no confidence at all that if needed, AXA would actually help us or pick up expenses. I need to rethink whether I need travel insurance in the future.

    We thank you for your comments. Policy premiums are based on (1) age of travelers, (2) trip cost, and (3) length of trip. Your premium was only 0.059% of your total trip cost which was actually economically priced when compared to other plans with comparable coverage.

    We are also happy to hear that your travels were without incident so that you did not need the services of AXA Assistance USA. However, if you had needed their services, you had access to 24 Hour Worldwide Assist Services which would included but was not limited to:
    Medical and Dental Referrals
    Critical Care Monitoring
    Emergency Medical Evacuation
    Medical Repatriation
    Return of Mortal Remains
    Dispatch of Prescription Medication

    along with AXA's "White Glove" Concierge Services.

We bought this insurance to protect a large investment in a very special European vacation. We were concerned about possible severe weather events, labor issues in the countries we visited, as well as potential health issues and the usual risks of delayed flights and missed connections. Thankfully, our trip went well and we did not have to file a claim, but we were glad we didn't have to worry about unexpected and unavoidable problems.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector
We cannot fully comment with this plan because we are not able to use it. All our plane, excursions, transfers and actual cruise went well. Be using it again come November for Southern Caribbean cruise.
