I didn't need to make a claim, so I don't know how that would work. I felt that I was covered in case of a problem, which was stress reducing. I hadn't received the coverage due to a mistake in my email address. When I called to find out, I received the information immediately.

We believe the plan gave us piece of mind, that if anything went wrong, we'd be covered. Like all insurance, you hope you don't need it (and we didn't). Also, you don't know if the plan is any good until you need it. For our next trip, we'll consider the same plan, and again hope we don't need it.

The real test of an insurance policy comes about when a claim is filed. Thankfully we have never had process a claim.
For our next trip to the Antarctic next February I gave up on attempting to evaluate the coverage on your site and went with the Vantage Travel package.
At our age medical evacuation from a remote area is of critical importance and I just couldn't figure it out.
Perhaps some effort can be spent improving the site in terms of a simplified side by side comparison without having to go over endless explanations.
