AXA Assistance USA Platinum
I spent hours and hours on the phone with customer service trying to get a straight answer about possibly filing a claim. I was told I'd be called back; I wasn't. I asked to speak to a supervisor; he/she wasn't available. I was so frustrated that I called the site who I purchased the plan through and ended up in tears on the phone (and she, by the way, was VERY helpful). So incredibly frustrated by the whole experience. We won't be using AXA ever again.

    We do want you and your fellow customers to be aware that InsureMyTrip offers a Customer Advocate Program. Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Requesting a Customer Advocate is as simple as calling 800-487-4722 or emailing [email protected], explaining the events which resulted in a claim, and the challenges you are facing.

I was in England during the time the bomber hit Manchester, and I was amazed that Roam Right emailed me to determine my situation, had I been affected? Did I need any help? What insurance company would contact a client like this? I was amazed and thankful that they were keeping track of this traveler. Thank you Roam Right, you are now my travel company of choice.

I am glad we did not have to use the plan! We were in London during the British Airways IT problem. Our flight was delayed initially but never canceled. Thousands of people were not as lucky. I was more calm knowing we had travel insurance!
