This company offers a comprehensive policy at a very competitive rate. I filed a claim when I became ill two days before our cruise and one day before our flight. The claims department staff was very helpful and pleasant to talk with. I supplied all of the required claim documents. The claim was settled and a check issued for the full amount only 6 days after it was logged into their system! It was very smooth settling this claim. I would highly recommend this insurance company; I am 100% satisfied.

Excellent price for the peace of mind I enjoyed prior to the trip departure. No worries about trip cancellation, bad weather, travel delays, or lost or delayed luggage.
Will be using Travel Guard in the future, and I hope I never have to use it, but if I do, it appears I am covered for my concerns.

We had to cancel 2-3 weeks prior to leaving for our 2 week cruise due to a medical event. When I called to find out what I needed to do, the representative was very kind and patient and provided me clear directions over the phone and then emailed the packet to me. I didn't deal with it for about 3 weeks. I finally put the information together; copies of credit card receipts and invoices and submitted via email. They have an online system where you can track the status of your claim. I received the refund we expected in about 3 weeks.

It was very easy to purchase and we got the coverage we wanted.

Took a lot of worry off our mind. We had some serious family issues taking place. One was on the day before we were supposed to leave. Our daughter-in-law got a call that her mother was hospitalized with chest pains. So our daughter-in-law, and possibly her husband and two boys, didn't know if they were going to make this trip. Fortunately, everything worked out, but you took away a lot of the worry with us knowing you had our financial backs. Thanks!

I felt that they excluded items from my claim that should have been paid. Their policy covers "any reasonable additional expenses incurred (meals, accommodations, local Transportation, and telephone calls);" but they refused to reimburse for tips for the local transportation and hotel. Tips are an expected part of local transportation and hotel check-ins, and I think that that AXA is misinterpreting the terms of their own policy in disallowing them.

We are glad we were able to assist you in getting the majority of your trip delay claim paid. We apologize that AXA Assistance USA is unable to reimburse the tips you paid during your trip delay. However, as with all travel insurance claims, receipts and documentation are required for an expense to be covered. Covering undocumented expenses would open the door to many fraudulent claims. This has been the third time I have insured my travel with CSA. I like that CSA offers many coverage options, and I can tailor the insurance to my needs. I have always found CSA to be very responsive to my requests for information or assistance, and there is never any guess work as to what coverage is included in the plan. Everything is spelled out simply yet concisely. I will most certainly use CSA again for my travel insurance needs.
