You never know how good a travel insurance company is until you need to file a claim! I had originally purchased this plan because my family would be traveling to Disney in the winter. I was concerned about weather. I ended up needing to cancel our vacation due to medical problems. The claim was easy to file and I was able to answer questions by email. I received reimbursement today for the full amount I had payed for my Disney Vacation Club rental. I highly recommend TruTravel.

I had purchased "cancel for any reason" protection for a recent trip. When I cancelled the trip and filed a claim, I received a prompt email asking for documentation of my lost deposit. I explained that some of the documentation wasn't applicable and sent in the rest. My claim was reviewed and paid very quickly.

I purchased the insurance plan to cover the total cost of my trip in case I couldn't attend. That was my main intention for this policy.
I experienced a terrible toothache while aboard on my cruise. The pain was so terrible I went to a dentist in Cozumel Mexico. I was charged $500.00 dollars that resulted in no relief from my pain. I would only wish future policies might include Dental Insurance if seen by a doctor. I'd recommend all to purchase dental if presented in a manor if one is seen buy a physician.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. The Nationwide Mutual Insurance Essential plan covers up to 500 USD for emergency dental treatment for an accidental injury to sound natural teeth. Both the accidental injury and the emergency dental treatment must occur during the Trip. This is industry standard for Comprehensive travel insurance policies.
InsureMyTrip does offer Single-Trip Medical plans that cover 100 USD for the relief of pain to sound natural teeth.
