    Policy premium is calculated based on three main factors: trip cost, length of travel, and ages of the travelers. You actually chose a very competitive policy since the premium works out to be only 5% of your total trip cost. It is not unusual for premiums to run as high as 8-10% of the total trip cost for some plans.

Generali Global Assistance Standard
Similar to auto proof of insurance, it would be convenient to have a clip-out wallet size information card. It should have my policy number and instructions on how to contact the insurance company from the counties I visit.

AIG Travel Travel Guard Gold
I have purchased travel insurance from InsureMyTrip numerous times and always the Customer Service Representatives are wonderful to work with. I maybe one of the only clients that gets insurance every year for 8 now.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector Lite
Since I didn't need to file a claim using this insurance, I can only comment that it fulfilled my desires for ease of getting the coverage I wanted. I didn't want an extreme package with all the bells and whistles, just the trip insurance and some medical.
