Purchased a plan for three of us to cruise to the British Isles next April 2021. We had to cancel our cruise and are very pleased that InsureMyTrip is in the process of refunding the premium we paid.

They state on their website they are refunding for canceled trips without claims due to Covid. It is been 10 weeks and I have not received anything except excuses. I will not purchase from them again.

AIG Travel Travel Guard Gold
We experienced a travel delay of a week while in the UK and a new itinerary that involved a new plane flight. Our car rental for that week was not covered, but meals and lodging and new flight and missed nonrefundable lodging were covered. It took several months to resolve the claim and then paid promptly.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector
I had some changes in my plans which cost me money and are not covered by insurance. It would be nice if insurance covered such things. I have to admit that you have some peace of mind when you travel and you have some sort of insurance coverage. There are just too many chances of trip interruptions or cancellations today.

    We appreciate your comments. As you are aware, there is no travel insurance plan that will cover every situation. In your particular situation, we advised you that you would not receive reimbursement for a prepaid hotel room if you decide to take an earlier flight and return home early.
