    Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our records do indicate that you contacted InsureMyTrip on the day before you departed on your trip questioning if a family member, who was not on your policy, was unable to go on the trip due to a medical issue. Our customer care representative read to you the terms of the policy then transferred you to the claims department to report your claim. Although it is not unusual for customers to expect a determination of coverage with that phone call, coverage can only be confirmed by the travel provider and only after reviewing claim documents.

AIG Travel Travel Guard Basic
This was my first time purchasing trip insurance. It was an expensive trip and we were concerned about the possibility of last minute plan changes due to my elderly mother-in-laws health. Fortunately all went as planned, insurance wasn't needed but I'm glad we had it.

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Luxury Cruise
This plan covered everything we needed for a wonderful trip. We didn't file a claim because everything went amazingly so I don't know how well their customer service is. Definitely, a worthwhile consideration if planning a trip overseas.
