We had a wonderful Caribbean vacation on the Jazz Cruise. It was only marred by the theft of my purse when I had left it unattended for a short time. My camera and several other personal items were stolen--thank goodness I left my cash and credit cards in the room safe! A Travelex representative gave me instructions on how to report the loss, and the value of everything (except prescription sunglasses) was promptly processed and refunded to me. Thank you Travelex!

Our Mom is 92 years old and doing well but we always worry about her when we travel. InsureMyTrip gives us many options as we travel and peace of mind. Fortunately, we have not had to interrupt a trip or file a claim.

I'm happy to say we didn't need the plan at all but was very glad to have the coverage at a much better rate than offered by either the cruise company or the travel agency. It gives me peace of mind.

The cruise prior to our boarding had an out break of the intestinal virus on the ship that involved 80+ passengers. We had to wait a couple of hours to board the ship while they sanitized the whole ship. Thankfully we didn't hear of any cases on board the two weeks we were on board. While talking to other passengers on our cruise there were stories of past cruises where people were so sick that the medical people on board told them they really needed to get off the ship and seek medical treatment on shore. At hear that I was glad that I did have the trip insurance. I always buy the trip insurance and with the price of this policy I will check with Insuremytrip again.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. Unfortunately TruTravel does not provide cards for their insurance. The confirmation of coverage page is what you need to print out and bring with you while you travel. I will pass your suggestion along to management.Jan 23,2016

Fortunately, I never had to use it on this trip but I always insure my trips with InsureMyTrip and have never had a problem. Even when cancelling a $4000 Transatlantic cruise less than a week before for medical reasons.

Ice storm delayed our flight home and had to fly into alternate city. Filed claim for hotel, food, car rental and gasoline (MUST have receipts or credit card statement). Claim processed and paid promptly in full. Have purchased travel insurance in past but never had to file a claim. Certainly worthwhile this trip.
