This is the first time we've bought trip insurance. Customer service was very helpful when I was trying to decide which coverage to select. As many others have said, we didn't need to use it (a good thing), but it was reassuring to have it.

I got very sick on a Transatlantic cruise and had to go to Medical. My health insurance took 5 months to deny my claim. I then sent all the required paperwork to CSA and they processed and paid my claim in a month. I just purchased insurance for our next trip from CSA.

Thankfully I still have not needed to find out just how good this plan is. I buy because the coverage is broader and much cheaper than the cruise line insurance. Knowing that I have coverage allows me enjoy my vacation with a little less worry.
