I would never recommend Insuremy trip or April Insurance to anyone due to an apparent disconnect between the two of you. We had a major problem regarding payment for an additional amount for our cruise/air cost. We gave you/them several different perfectly good credit cards for the charge, but we kept getting messages that it wasn't paid for, payment wouldn't go through, etc. All cards had very high limits, nothing was wrong with any of them, and yet either you or April were incapable of completing the charge. It's all documented in my file at either your office or theirs. The incompetency became extremely irritating to us and we became seriously doubtful that we were dealing with a legitimate company. Never again. Next time will go with a direct carrier.

Typically, changes will take between 2-3 business days, so this was an uncommon occurrence. Sometimes changes can take longer than usual when updated credit card information is required. Coverage seemed good for the price. I can't say anything about the claims paying experience with your company, but I assume it's good. Documentation was complete and helpful to have with me on the trip. Since we had no need to file a claim, the policy seems very expensive for an 18-day trip in Scandinavia (a no-conflict zone). I have no experience with your claims handling, so cannot comment on that.

We didn't need to file a claim so can't speak to how good the coverage actually is but in theory the policy covered all the items we wanted insurance on and was reasonably priced. We have used Insuremytrip on multiple occasions for the peace of mind of knowing we had coverage should something go wrong. Much more reasonably priced options than what was offered by any of the tour companies we have used.
