We had a trip and baggage delay on the return portion of our trip. Nancy handled our claim efficiently and effectively. It was paid in less than 30 days. However, a portion of our claim was not covered because the baggage delay only covered the outbound travel. Our delay occurred during a leg of our return flight. We flew from London to Dulles and were supposed to fly from Dulles to Home. Unfortunately, a problem occurred with air traffic control and our flight was cancelled until the next day. The airline would not give us access to our luggage. Read your coverage very carefully. I assumed baggage delay would have covered all parts of our trip.

The peace of mind this insurance policy provided can't be simply expressed. Thankfully we haven't ever needed the insurance but given pre-existing health issues, we'd rather be safe than sorry. Most policies will have baggage delay coverage on the outward journey only.
We strongly recommend customers read the terms and conditions of the policy within the review period to determine if the policy fits your needs.
