Due to weather issues, we missed a flight and subsequently missed our cruise departure. We had to buy new airline tickets to a different destination in order to catch up with the cruise at the first port (which turned out to be the second port of call because the ship skipped the first port of call due to bad weather), stay overnight in a hotel and then use public transit to get to our destination. Upon our return home, we submitted a claim for all of the additional receipted travel expenses. Nationwide sent us a reimbursement, but not for the full amount. When I called to ask about the amount of reimbursement that we received, the agent agreed that we should have been reimbursed at a higher amount, authorized payment, and we received another check a week later. We were reimbursed for the full amount that we had receipts for. Because we were travelling internationally and had to spend a significant sum to reach our destination, we were very glad to have purchased insurance, and we would purchase it again for an international trip such as this.

Even thought I did not make any claims my attempts to contact your company to find out how to utilize the doctor on the ship were painful at best. Your phone numbers did not work and when I finally got through it was 30 minutes of Spanish Inquisition just to get another number to call. does not really make me enthusiastic about doing this again.

Somehow I gave the wrong date range when planning my trip 1 year ago. When I saw this error just 1 week before I left, I called customer service and painlessly corrected the error.
